Pauline-Astrid Boulders (Part 2)

I returned to the boulders this past weekend with Eric J that Eric, Jared, and myself discovered this spring. We took a brush cutter and chainsaw this time and cut a trail in from the creek to two of the future bouldering areas. If you have never cut a trail in before, just know it's plain and simply really hard work. Do it in July in northern MN when all the bugs are out and you could say we're crazy. Nevertheless, the trail is in and ready for us to return in the fall to clean and hopefully send the problems. After returning, we are both more excited than ever about the prospects of bouldering in this area. There are hard lines to be had and loads of potential.
